With the introduction of Nursing, Paramedical, Pharmacy, and Allied Health courses in J&K, stakeholders felt the need for an organization to address common issues with regulatory bodies and contribute jointly to the development of these institutions across Jammu and Kashmir.
ARCHS (J&K) was formed in 2015 with the objective of uplifting these domains. Today, there are around 40 colleges of Nursing, 8 Colleges of Pharmacy, and approximately 75 institutions producing thousands of healthcare professionals. These professionals serve in both Government and Private sectors, making significant contributions, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.
ARCHS continuously updates institutions, faculty, and students by aligning with industry trends. It also organizes seminars, workshops, and webinars regularly on relevant healthcare topics.
